My dad turns 50 today. Not that it makes him old or anything, but it is certainly a milestone to note. He and my mom are headed up for the weekend to play. It is always nice to have them here. I wish we lived closer (most of the time.) My dad works very hard and is a generous man. He is a very supportive loving dad, and is a wonderful Wally 12.* We hope he is around for many many many more of his birthdays.
*Not sure of any suggested forms for what to be called as a grandfather, and has said he would like to be known as Wally 12. We're trying it out.
