Getting Churchy

As always seems to be the case (but shouldn't be), my prayers have become more earnest and sincere since our lives have become more stressful. The answer I have received is that we need to live closer to the Lord. If we are doing more scripture study, more service, more prayer, etc. we will be blessed. It's true that we need money, but I wonder if there is an element of spiritual emptiness that is our greater need. I had the opportunity to go out teaching with the missionaries, I baked cookies for our neighbors, I am going visiting teaching tomorrow, and to the temple next week. I'm off to a running start.
