Happy Thanksgiving!

Sometimes it is nice to have lots of family living nearby. Sometimes it would be nice to live far, far away from them all. Today may have been a mix of both. We went to Thanksgiving dinner #1 at my Aunt's church building. That was to accommodate 47 of the Olsens. (Small turnout this year.) It was really nice. One cousin came home from an LDS mission yesterday, and another one came home from Iraq where she has been stationed for the last year. Grandma was feeling quite sad and lonely which is totally understandable. Lots of crazy emotions at that place. After we'd eaten our share, we went to E's uncle's house. E's mom's parents had come down from Idaho. It was great to see them too. E's siblings that live in the area, his parents, and a cousin were there. A much more relaxed atmosphere which was great. We are now home and exhausted. R took a 45 minute nap this morning, and that was it. LONG day for that kid. Today's entry sounds a little too "Dear Diary." Oh well. Hope your day was great!
