Our little man is 16 months old. He is a skinny little guy weighing in at just over 20lbs. But what he "lacks" in size he makes up in personality. He is such a happy kid. He plays happily in his crib until we get him in the morning. We are then greeted with a cheerful Mama! or Dada!
Favorite Foods: cheese, any fruit (still!), and juice. He also learned what "ga-ga" (candy) was at the end of October.
Words we hear & understand: He-yo (hello), bye-bye, car, mama, dada, choo-choo, cheeth (cheese), apple, choos (juice), ball, na-na, nigh-nigh.
Cute, recent tricks: Having whole phone conversations by himself (they start with hello, filled with gobbledy-gook, and end with bye-bye.); Blowing kisses, and sharing real kisses with people he wants to share one with; Saying "ahh" when he feels warm air from a heater; Sitting like a big boy on the couch between mom and dad in the evenings.
Other recent tricks: Saying uh-uh when he doesn't want to do something; Throwing tantrums when he feels he's being treated unfairly (like we won't take him outside....again..); Throwing all the food in front of him on the floor when he doesn't want it.
We are SO blessed to have such a happy kid in our lives. We thank our Heavenly Father every night that R came to our family. It is so fun to watch him grow and develop. I appreciate chances like this to sit back and reflect on how much he is growing. We can't wait for the years to come.
