Today was R's first day of Nursery at church! Quite the grown up kid. His dad stayed in with him for the first 5-10 minutes, and then he said bye bye and left. He was fine until other parents started picking up their kids. Then he started crying. Some say it's because he wanted mom/dad. Others say it's because his friends left. Who knows the truth. I did get him to nod when I asked if they had crackers for a snack (he had crumbs all over.) And he seemed a little proud of the picture he colored.
I tried to remain calm the whole time he was in there. All in all I'm sure I had a rougher first day than he did in Nursery.
