Labor Day recap

We were able to go to my parent's house for Labor Day. It was great. R decided to wake up
2 hours earlier than normal all three days we were there. The first day I dragged myself out of bed and got up with him. The 2nd day, we let him wander around the room we were staying in until E opened the door to the room. R then went as fast as his legs could carry him to my parent's door and he POUNDED on it until my dad let him in. We then slept in. AHHHH. The 3rd morning, E pulled R out of the pack'n play and set him on the floor. The door had been left open a bit, so R just pulled it open and headed down the hall to the Kitchen, where we heard my dad greet him with "It's R!" We got to sleep in two days in a row. I had thought about asking my parents to watch the boy so we could go out. That extra sleep in the mornings was so much better.
The women folk canned peaches (80 quarts, thank you very much) while the men folk rode the Atvs and watched the big game. (Not so big for some of us.)
R had his first great time running through the sprinklers.

(Don't let the look on his face here fool you. See other pictures here.)
He also had his first ride on a Four-Wheeler.
