Home Again

We had a wonderful weekend away. A visit to see my parents is always a break for me, and E seems to like the hunting. R had a great time and got to meet chickens, cats, and a new baby foal.

Lots of fun. He was AWESOME on the car ride home. He sang along with the radio, played with his toys and looked out the window. He didn't cry or whine the whole 4 1/2 hour drive. I think it did help that we stopped twice (I was drinking too much water) and let him get out and stretch.
General Conference was really good. I enjoy hearing the talks and having a chance to commit to be a better person. There were great talks about being nice to everyone. Yourself, your kids, and everyone you come in contact with. I usually need a reminder.
