My mom came up to visit this past weekend. It is always fun to have her here. We went and toured the new Ikea (1st time visit for all of us), ate out more than anyone should, and did quite a bit of sitting around watching all the cute things R are doing. Things like standing on his tip toes to see out the window in his crib, straining his neck to see what he is hearing, screaming in pain because of the worst rash of his life and pooping on the rug when we leave his diaper off to let his bum have air. Oh wait, that part was not cute. It was quite gross. He spread it around, but did not eat any. Yuck. I totally know that it is my fault. The good news is that our rug is super clean now.
We are so dependent on our computers. We have a laptop and a desktop. The laptop is having a battery/power cord problem and the desktop is having a processor problem. Fixing the computers is not in the budget, but we can't live without them. We should, but we're hooked. I've weaned myself off cable TV (that's been great for us), learned to function in public without a cell phone (still a little rough), but I won't be able to live without the computer.
