Goodbye house!

Thanks for the good times and memories. This has been a great home for our family. I will really miss it. We've lived here 4 years this month. Both of our children have joined our family since we've lived here. There have been lots of sweat put into making this run down house into our home.

This was meant to be our first home. We went for a walk one Sunday afternoon in May of 2005. We walked past the house, decided to call the realtor listed. Monday we called. Wednesday we saw the house (which was a HUD home.) The deadline to enter a bid happened to be that coming Friday. We entered a bid Thursday (for the minimum asking bid) and got the house on Friday. Because of HUD paperwork/yellow tape, we were not able to move in until August, but that was when our lease was up on the apartment we were living in. There was enough equity in our home to help buy our business when it was time. And now, even though we have had to close our business, we can sell our home and break even. I am so grateful we found this home, and I'm going to miss it very much.
