What a toddler R is. Or at least thinks he is. He is a very verbal kid, and more and more of what he says is understandable. Today as my parents were leaving, R said. Papa bye bye. In car. In car outside. It is fun to see him comprehend and process things.
One of R's new favorite things to do is write. He draws pictures, but when he "writes" things it is using very deliberate up and down marks. He will also say "e i e r a e e a" (or other random combinations) as he is writing. Very cute. And makes the teacher in me very proud. As does his 1 to 1 correlation skills. He as a silly sense of humor, and has recently been demonstrating that by making faces. He is so much fun to have around.
