I finally was able to break out my Christmas present (a Pressure cooker. Thanks Mom and Dad!)
And I whipped up my first batch of strawberry jam. We are just getting to the peak of the season here. Soon we will be able to go to a pick your own field and get enough jam for me to feed my little army all year long with enough to share. I don't remember how many jars I made last year, but we finished our last jar 1 WEEK before we got our flats of berries. 1 WEEK people!
E doesn't think he wants to move lots of jam when we move this summer, but there are lots of other boxes of stuff we don't need that will be making the trip. YAY JAM!
