Shoe love

We have a hard time getting M to say/sign "please". To her it is better to whine/cry/scream until your mom gives in. She does it occasionally, but not often.
The other day we were killing time at Target (an expensive place to kill time, BTW) and we wandered into the kids' shoe department. We found some cute boots and I tried one on her foot. They came home with us after M looked at the boots, looked up at her dad, said "dada!" and signed please. Now if we can only get her to ask for more dinner without screaming...
