I was determined to go with a theme this year.  The ONLY way I got M to go along with this was to buy her the boots. Halloween this year was a good reminder to USE YOUR REAL CAMERA.  The phone just doesn't always cut it. But here's our crew:

The loot was sorted and categorized. then we were able to graph and compare.  Yay homeschool math!
