What do you do when a blizzard hits?

Bake a cake, of course.

And how do you decorate this cake in a blizzard?

With all your names and sprinkles. (Including R's name of the day.)

The news reported it as the "storm of the year." I'm not sure it really was, but we got hit a LOT harder than those that live south of us. It was interesting to have the storm blow around the house so hard that the windows on all sides were too covered with snow to see out. E was sent home from work early and we had a good time being all snuggled inside.
